Bike Fitting at Motorless Motion

At Motorless Motion we use a mix of fitting techniques and theories to get you optimally set-up on your new or current bike. We have experience fitting all types of bikes and fully believe that all riders will benefit from a properly fit bicycle!

Our fits are done by expert fitter Adam Clark. Adam brings over 7 years of fitting experience to the table, as well as a life-long passion for cycling. Adam has a proven track record of solving customer's most complex bicycle fit issues, and has helped cyclists of all backgrounds overcome chronic problems with injury histories, physical limitations, and pain issues on their bicycles.

Why focus on proper bike fit?
A proper bike fit is essential for optimal performance, efficiency, injury prevention, and comfort on the bike, and will provide a rider with the most efficient means of expending energy. A proper bike fit will also prevent pain that is common in the knee, hip, and lower back, particularly with riders who attempt to adapt their bodies to the bike they have purchased.

Is a bike fit effective for different types of riders?
Bike fit decisions should be made while considering the individual goals, biomechanics, strengths, and limitations of each rider. From professional athletes to club cyclists to recreational riders and commuters, every cyclist will benefit from a proper bike fit.

How do I schedule a fit?
Give Adam a call at (608) 443-0640 or email sales@motorlessmotionbicycles.com to schedule a time that works for you.

What items should I bring to my fit appointment?
Items that you would normally wear during a ride: padded shorts, gloves, cycling shoes, etc., pedals and a water bottle.  Of course, please remember to bring your bike!
